The GT's hull geometry is rooted in the original Inuit and Aleut skin-on-frame tradition, with hard chines, a shallow V-hull, and a low sheerline that sits close to the water and shrugs off wind with minimal resistance. That low deck profile, both fore and aft, is what makes layback and forward rolls feel so fluid. The moderate rocker keeps the boat agile and responsive when edging in dynamic water, while still tracking cleanly on longer crossings.

For a Greenland hull, the GT is genuinely practical. Three Kajak Sport VCP-style rubber hatches with composite bulkheads keep gear dry and accessible, and the keyhole cockpit is sized to accommodate larger paddlers without losing that snug, connected fit that Greenland rolling depends on. The multi-adjustable backband uses a nut-and-bolt system for precise, customised fit. It takes a few sessions to dial in, but once it's set, the outfitting holds up on long days on the water. A retractable skeg, recessed deck fittings, reflective perimeter lines, and spare paddle beads round out a thoughtfully equipped build.
